  • How do I book a party?

    Please visit our Party Packages  to review party packages and request your preferred date and time.
    Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve your party.
  • What ages are your parties best for?

    Our parties are recommended for children ages 3 and up.
  • What party package is best for ages 8+?

    We love celebrating with all ages. Any of our party experiences can be tailored to suit older children.
  • What is the “Magic Day” Transformation?

    The birthday child is invited to arrive 30 minutes before the party begins for a private magical
    experience that includes:

    ● A private potion-making session
    ● Magical transformation with glitter and glitz
    ● Witch cape and witch hat
    ● Aura crystal
    ● Pink star wand
    ● Magic rose breathing and affirmations

    This quiet time is a beautiful way to begin their special day.
  • Can we invite more than 10 guests?

    For our Large Coven parties, we may be able to accommodate additional guests for $25 per child.
    Some party types have space limitations, so please discuss this with us during booking. We will
    always do our best to accommodate your celebration.
  • When are parties hosted?

    Parties are hosted November through September based on availability.
    Please view our booking calendar to request your date.

    October party booking is based on availability. Please inquire at

  • Does The Good Witch of Salem host the parties?

    Our magical staff hosts all parties.
    A Good Witch of Salem character appearance can be added for an additional fee when booking.
  • How long are parties?

    All parties are 90 minutes:

    ● 60 minutes of guided magical activities
    ● 30 minutes for cake/cupcakes

    We kindly ask that guests are picked up promptly at the scheduled end time.
  • Can I book a class or public event as a birthday party?

    Classes and events are designed for the general public. While you may reserve spots for your
    group, they are not considered private birthday parties.
  • Can children wear witch hat products and accessories in the shop?

    Our space is also a retail store. Hats, dresses, and accessories are available for purchase only and
    may not be used for dress-up during parties.
    Any merchandise worn or damaged will be added to your party balance.
  • Can I bring my own food?

    You are welcome to bring:

    ● Cake or cupcakes
    ● Juice boxes or water bottles

    Due to our limited food window, we do not allow pizza or additional snacks.

    Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
    Our staff does not prepare, cut, or serve food.
  • Can I arrive early to decorate?

    Yes. You may arrive up to 30 minutes prior to your party to decorate and set up.
    During your party, we close the retail store to provide a private experience.
  • Do you provide goody bags?

    Goody bags are not included. Party favors can be purchased on our website and will be ready when
    you arrive
  • Can I take photos inside the shop?

    Absolutely. We love when you capture the magic.
  • What should I bring to the party?

    You may bring:

    ● Decorations (banners, balloons)
    ● Cake/cupcakes
    ● Drinks (juice or water)
    ● Candles and lighter
    ● Cake cutter
    ● Plates, utensils, paper goods

    Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
  • Is there a restroom?

    We have access to a shared public restroom for party guests.
    An adult must accompany children at all times. 
  • Where can we park?

    Street parking is available along Essex Street.

    Additional nearby parking:

    ● Crombie Street Parking Lot (across from our Spell Studio)
    ● Salem MBTA Lot
    ● Church Street Garage
