Tonight is a special night because I’m taking my full moon flight to see the beaver moon! The full moon in November is called the beaver moon because beavers are putting their final touches on their dams to prepare for winter. Another name for this moon is the frost moon because it takes place right around the first frost!

The Beaver Moon will peak on November 15th, at 4:28pm E.T., but don’t worry you’ll be able to see the moon later that night! This moon celebrates the preparation for winter and slowing down. When winter comes, I am excited to cuddle with my cat, Aura, near my fire and read a book. The changing seasons highlight the cycles and changes that are constantly occurring in nature. This is very important for the beaver moon, because it inspires us to create change in our own lives and appreciate the cycle of life. This moon also celebrates resilience because beavers work very hard to create their homes for the winter. They work super hard to make their home strong, so they have a safe home and can successfully hibernate. 

Before I take off on my broom, I sprinkle it with my silver and purple magic moondust. My silver moondust represents success. This year is almost over, and we should celebrate everything we have accomplished. My purple moon dust represents healing. The cycle of life represents growth and healing. As we grow, we should make sure we heal too!

The affirmation card I like to use during this month is I am optimistic. My outlook is bright. You have already had so much success in my life, and you will continue to be successful. As I grow and heal, that will help me find my purpose in life. 

The light of the Beaver Moon will remind you of your success this year, and the healing you should do before the new year. 

Crystals for November’s Beaver Full Moon

Silver Crystal:

My silver crystal represents truth, success and purpose. This crystal charges as I stay truthful and work towards my purpose which will give me success. These beavers have a big job to make sure they make a successful home for the winter, which is their purpose. They are also preparing for a lot of time where they don’t do much. When I am alone and I slow down, it allows me to reflect, which is necessary in order to succeed in the future and start new. 

Dragon Crystal: 

My dragon crystal represents strength, balance and love. This crystal charges by the magic of dragons. Beavers and dragons are very different but they have a lot of similar traits! They have to be super strong to collect all the materials they need for their home and build their home. They also have to balance all the sticks on top of each other. 

My Favorite Beaver Full Moon Activity: 

Like I said, My favorite thing to do in the winter is to cuddle up with Aura by the fire. You can cuddle with your pets, your family or just a book! The Aura Cat Pajamas are the perfect comfy outfit to wear while resting!
