On November 1st, 2024, an exceptional new moon arrived, bringing with it a time of calm, reflection, and new beginnings! The new moon happens when the moon is hidden in the sky and invisible to our eyes. Even though we couldn’t see it, we could still feel its magic. This moon was a time for all young witches and wizards to set new intentions, just like planting seeds in a garden! 

A Time to Start Fresh 📖

The November new moon was like a fresh, blank page. It was the perfect time to think about what we wanted to achieve or learn before the end of the year. I wrote down my wishes, big and small! This was my moment to dream!

Making a New Moon Wish 🌑

Some families and friends gathered under the dark sky, even though the moon couldn’t be seen, and shared their hopes. Together, they closed their eyes and imagined those dreams in their hearts. Some kids whispered their wishes to the stars or drew them on paper to keep somewhere special, like a little secret spell.

A Night of Moon Dust Magic 🪄

At The Good Witch of Salem, we celebrated the November new moon with magical moondust! Each color had a special meaning: purple for healing, teal for honesty, and silver for sucess. I sprinkled my magical dust over my wishes, believing it would give them extra power to grow. It was a fun, glittery way to feel connected to the moon's energy, even though we couldn’t see it.

Planting Seeds of Intentions 🌱

The new moon in November encouraged everyone to think about how they could be the best versions of themselves. I also like to use crystals when I set intentions because they serve as a reminder of my intentions. This month I used my healing heart to serve as my reminder!

As the month goes on the moon will show itself more each night. Just as the moon grows brighter, it will remind everyone that their wishes and intentions are growing, too! With a little patience and care, just like the moon, these dreams will start to shine.
