A New Chapter of Magic: The Ribbon-Cutting of The Good Witch of Salem's Spell Studio

On a beautiful day in Salem, Massachusetts, we officially cut the ribbon and opened the doors to something truly special, The Good Witch of Salem Spell Studio, located just steps away from our flagship store at 304 Essex Street.

As the founder of The Good Witch of Salem and an educator at heart, this moment feels like a dream woven together by purpose, creativity, and deep love for childhood development. With a background in special education, early childhood, elementary education, ESL, and reading, I’ve always believed in the power of learning through experience and the Spell Studio is exactly that: a place where learning meets magic.

Inside the Spell Studio

Children are invited to immerse themselves in hands-on, meaningful activities that symbolize their personal journey of growth:

  • Hat Decorating  – The witch hat represents a child’s purpose, their inner joy, and the golden magic that lives within them.

  • Broom Decorating  – Each broom symbolizes their journey, and the many places their heart and imagination will take them.
  • Potion Making  – Our potion-making experience allows children to explore feelings and emotions through creativity, using color and sensory play to make tangible the magic inside their hearts.

Each activity is intentionally designed to support social-emotional learning (SEL), a core value of The Good Witch of Salem. We believe that when children are given space to explore who they are, express how they feel, and celebrate their uniqueness as they grow into confident, kind, and joyful beings.

The Spell Studio is more than just an extension of our flagship store on North Street; it is a safe, magical space for children and families to engage in purposeful play, build emotional awareness, and walk away a little more connected to themselves.

We are so grateful to our community for your love and support, and we can't wait to welcome you into this new chapter of our journey.

Come experience the magic at:
📍 281 Essex Street, Salem, MA
