Get ready to dance the night away at Salem’s first and only Children’s Costume Ball, hosted by The Good Witch of Salem! This October, children of all ages are invited to join us for an evening of enchantment, surprises, and Halloween family fun at the Salem Waterfront Hotel and Suites.

Event Highlights

Come in Costume Dress to impress in your spookiest, silliest, most glamorous, or homemade costume creation! Whether you're a wizard, a witch, a superhero, or a fairy tale character, let your imagination run wild and show off your best Halloween look.

Meet Surprise Character Guests Be prepared for exciting surprises as character guests make special appearances throughout the evening. Who knows who you might meet on the dance floor!

DJ Dance Party Dance with your friends, show off your best moves, and make unforgettable memories on the dance floor.

North End Dinner Buffet Feast on a North End dinner buffet featuring delicious delights and sweet treats. 

  • Kids Dinner offers a choice of Chicken Fingers & French Fries or Pasta
  • Adult Dinner offers Minestrone Soup, Vine Ripe Tomato, Fresh Basil, and Fresh Mozzarella Cheese Drizzled in Olive Oil, Caesar Salad with Fresh Parmesan Cheese & Croutons, Penne Pasta Primavera with Marinara Sauce, Chicken Marsala, Fresh Seasoned Vegetables with Fresh Parsley, Garlic Bread, and Tiramisu Dessert

Pop-Up Shop

The Good Witch Pop-Up Shop will be available at the event. Books, witch hats, accessories, capes and dresses will be available to purchase the day of the event. Additional merchandise and experience opportunities are offered at The Good Witch of Salem located at 2 North Street in Salem, MA.

Due to space constraints, please refrain from bringing in strollers and wagons. 

Please note: Event ticket purchases are non-refundable at this time.

Reservation Details

Each attendee requires a ticket. An adult MUST accompany their child by purchasing an additional ticket. This is not a drop-off event.

Children under 2 years do not require a ticket to the event. They are considered a lap child and cannot partake in event crafts or prizes.

Tickets are non-refundable.

Due to space constraints, please refrain from bringing in strollers and wagons.

Cancellation Policy

All registrations are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your event we would love for you to transfer your experience to a friend.

Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites

Parking at the Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites is available based on a first come, first serve basis in their off-site parking lot. Visit the Front Desk for a parking permit. Parking meters may be found around the downtown area.

  • The Museum Place parking garage is located at 1 Church Street.
  • Located at 1 New Liberty Street is the Bridge Street Lot.
  • In addition to parking, there is the MBTA Commuter Rail Station located at 252 Bridge Street which is about a 15 minute walk to the event venue.

Children under 2 years of age do not require a ticket and are considered a "lap child." A Lap Child will sit on the Lap of an accompanying Adult. Any Lap Child will not receive a craft or prizes during the event.
