This October, step into a world of elegance and enchantment as The Good Witch of Salem hosts a children’s tea party at the Historic Hawthorne Hotel in Downtown Salem. The Grand Ballroom, adorned in shades of pink, will captivate guests with its charm and beauty.

Tea Party Highlights:

Elegant Setting in Shades of Pink Upon arrival, you’ll be enchanted by the beautifully decorated Grand Ballroom, shimmering in shades of pink, setting the perfect scene for a magical tea party.

Delicious Treats and Refreshments Savor a delightful assortment of tea sandwiches, fresh fruits, and pastries. Enjoy a variety of beverages including coffee, tea, and juice. Indulge in decadent desserts that are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Tea Time Coloring & Craft Engage in creative fun with coloring and a teapot craft activity.

Exciting BINGO Game & Prize Join in the excitement with a fun game of BINGO, where participants can win a prize, adding an extra layer of joy to the event.

Interactive Story Time Experience an interactive story time led by the Good Witch of Salem, featuring her book, “The Good Witch of Salem,” written by Ashley Tina and illustrated by Zuzana Svobodova.

Book Signing After the story time, have your book signed by The Good Witch of Salem, making it a cherished keepsake from this magical day.

DJ Dance Party End the day on a high note with a lively DJ dance party. Dance to fun tunes and enjoy the upbeat atmosphere as we celebrate a day filled with magic and joy.

Pop-Up Shop

The Good Witch Pop-Up Shop will be available at the event. Books, witch hats, accessories, capes and dresses will be available to purchase the day of the event. Additional merchandise and experience opportunities are offered at The Good Witch of Salem located at 2 North Street in Salem, MA.

Due to space constraints, please refrain from bringing in strollers and wagons. 

Please note: Event ticket purchases are non-refundable at this time.

Reservation Details

Each attendee requires a ticket. An adult MUST accompany their child by purchasing an additional ticket. This is not a drop-off event.

Children under 2 years do not require a ticket to the event. They are considered a lap child and cannot partake in event crafts or prizes.

Tickets are non-refundable.

Due to space constraints, please refrain from bringing in strollers and wagons.

Cancellation Policy

All registrations are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your event we would love for you to transfer your experience to a friend.

Hawthorne Hotel

Parking at the Hawthorne Hotel is available based on a first come, first serve basis. Parking is free around the perimeter of the Salem Common located adjacent to the event venue. There are metered parking spots available around the hotel.

  • The Museum Place parking garage is located at 1 Church Street, about a 2-5 minute walk to the event venue.
  • Located at 1 New Liberty Street is the Bridge Street Lot, also a 2-5 minute walk to the event venue.
  • In addition to parking, there is the MBTA Commuter Rail Station located at 252 Bridge Street which is about a 10-15 minute walk to the event venue.

Children under 2 years of age do not require a ticket and are considered a "lap child." A Lap Child will sit on the Lap of an accompanying Adult. Any Lap Child will not receive a craft or prizes during the event.
